So, I'm Leesha, a twenty-one year old poli sci major stuck in a small Canadian town. I've loved books ever since I was a kid, with a particular fondness for the horror and mystery genres, and one of my goals is to write a full-length novel. I'm addicted to TV and movies. My current unhealthy obsession is split between Supernatural & Game of Thrones, but other favorites include Doctor Who, Lost, and SVU. Horror movies are the best. I work part-time in the service industry, even though I'm usually not very social.
This blog is primarily my various obsessions mixed with random RL rant things. I ship Destiel, a bit of Wincest, Nine/Rose, Ten/Rose, and Elliot/Olivia. Don't like it, don't follow me.

He tried to shake me off, but I kept holding on, until he stopped shouting and I felt the fight go out of him. Then I realised he too had his arms around me. And so we stood together like that, at the top of that field, for what seemed like ages, not saying anything, just holding each other, while the wind kept blowing and blowing at us, tugging our clothes, and for a moment, it seemed like we were holding onto each other because that was the only way to stop us being swept away into the night.

renly’s ghost
So much, that I was happy for the Lannisters to win. Which bothers me, because I hate the Lannisters.
But I honestly cannot stand Stannis. I don’t understand why people like him. I just honestly don’t.
I am not gonna lie, I wanted Renly to sit on the Iron Throne. I honestly did. And part of the reason I hate Stannis definitely has to do with the fact that he killed Renly. And not just that he killed Renly, because I could deal with that if he had killed him in battle or something, but the way he killed Renly. It just seems like he is all about honor, but it is not honorable to kill using a freaking shadow. And in the book, that shadow is used to kill more than one person, and that bothers me.
This next part of my argument contains spoilers for A Storm of Swords, so I’ll do a read more.
hiya! so: a
n essayresponse!!1) killing renly was definitely not a good thing per se but consider the alternative. their armies would meet on the field of battle, thousands of men would die, renly might even have been killed anyways, and the war would drag on. so you either kill one man or you kill a whole bunch. and it’s very arguable that stannis didn’t even know that was melisandre’s intent. later he says that he dreams of the tent and of renly dying, but when he woke there was no blood on his hands, and he sounds confused as fuck:
For a long time the king did not speak. Then, very softly, he said, “I dream of it sometimes. Of Renly’s dying. A green tent, candles, a woman screaming. And blood.” Stannis looked down at his hands. “I was still abed when he died. Your Devan will tell you. He tried to wake me. Dawn was nigh and my lords were waiting, fretting. I should have been ahorse, armored. I knew Renly would attack at break of day. Devan says I thrashed and cried out, but what does it matter? It was a dream. I was in my tent when Renly died, and when I woke my hands were clean.”
This, basically.
The smallfolk say it was King Renly’s ghost, but wiser men know better.
